More Projects for Kevin

Now that we have these beautiful walls we need to keep going and update some other things. Some items just needed to be replaced because they weren't working right, like the kitchen faucet and sprayer (you know the one that sprayed Spencer's mom Paula when she came for dinner and was making the salad) and the ceiling fan which had a mind of its own when it came to working. So as long as I was replacing things I decided to change the look.

Out with the gold/old(well most of it)and in with the antique bronze.

We replaced the cabinet knobs-what a nightmare trying to get those cute little knobs.

The ceiling fan.

The kitchen faucet.

Three light fixtures in the kitchen-yet another nightmare.

And the one that was the hardest, and almost cost Kevin one of his eyes(he was laying on his back trying to get a nail out of the banister and he dropped the pliers on his face by his eye and cut his face), was replacing the white posts in the banister with black wrought iron.

We also painted the outside doors black(well Deep space-that is the name of the color, it is kind of a dark blue(I thought it was black), but after three or four coats it looks black-yet another color choice/mistake. But this one worked out).

Put up black shutters in the front.

It all looks so great! It is like a new house! I love it! Thank you Kevin for all of the hard work that you did. I really appreciate it! Thanks to everyone else that helped too-Kody, Brooke, Danny, Spencer, Papa, and Glen-I hope that I didn't forget anyone, Thank you!!!!!!
