Happy Birthday Kody!

Kody was born on April 26th, 1985. He was born about 2 weeks after Dad graduated from BYU.
This is Kody and Dr. Moore.
Kody weighted in at 9lbs. He was a big boy!

Kody is all dressed up for his first day of Kindergarten picture. He is 5 years old.
Kody still likes to wear pink!

Here is Kody and the girl that played Clara in the Nutcracker. They are ready to greet all of the guests at the Nutcracker Party before the show. Kody was Fritz in the Nutcracker with Summer and Danielle, two years in a row. He did a GREAT job, and love it (but he will tell you that he didn't like it).

Kody started wrestling in eighth grade for Sunset Jr. High. Kody lettered in wrestling as a sophomore. He continued to wrestled through his Junior year at Northridge High School.

Kody and Dad went on a high adventure when Kody was a senior in high school. Check out Kody's pack, he is caring some of Dads stuff too.

Kody started taking some firefighting classes through Northridge High School. He decided that he wanted to become a firefighter. Kody graduated from Northridge High School in 2004.

Kody and Brooke started dates when Brooke was still in high school. Kody asked her to marry him on Easter Sunday, 2006. They where married September 15th, 2006 in the Logan Temple.

Happy Birthday Kody! I hope that you enjoy your special day. We love you very much and we are so very proud of you.

Today sucked...... I worked from 6 a.m. till midnight yesterday. On the way home, I remembered that I had a 6:30 a.m. lecture. I wasn't going to go, but I felt I should attend (especially since I didn't go to the one last week) because it might help me with some study questions I've been working on. That being the case, I woke up early with less than 5 hours of sleep so I could drive to work on my day off for a 30 minute lecture that turned out to be of very little value. On the way home, this happened:
Luckily, the other driver was not injured, and I received only a minor abrasion on my forehead. Because it was 8 a.m., the sun was directly in line with the stop light, and I couldn't see that the light had changed. It was one of those moments that seemed to pass in slow motion - one of those where you brace yourself for the oncoming tragedy, just hoping that everyone will be okay.

On the plus side, noone was injured, the police were very friendly and didn't issue a citation, and our insurance company was very easy to work with (they even had an the appraisal guy out to our hourse within three hours of the accident).

On the negative side, I get to look forward to paying the $250 deductible and watching our rates double. FUN, FUN, FUN!!!
