We're buying a house!

This is our new house! Isn't it pretty. We think so. It is 3 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms. The colors are brown and tanish colors. The fixtures are all antique bronze. We thought that would look kind of funny, but when we saw it we absolutly loved it! We should be closing by the end of the month. Here are some more pictures of our house. Andrew's Parent-Teacher Conference

On Friday, Bryan and I we were able to attend Andrew's parent-teacher conference. After talking to Ms. Bell about Andrew's progress, we rotated to three stations around his classroom where Andrew demonstrated his skills in Math, Reading, and Writing. I was proud as can be sitting there watching! It is amazing, as a parent, to watch his abilities grow! We are just so proud of Andrew and how well he is doing in school!

Prayer's Are Answered

Conference is coming up on April 5th and 6th. I always think about something that happened to me when I was Danny's age, I was around 20 years old. I was going to a Singles Ward with my aunt Merrie. One Family Night before conference our "FHE Dad" talked to us about getting answers to questions, or problems that we were having by listening to conference. He promised us that if we would pray about our problem or question and then watch all of the sessions of conference, someone would answer our question. So I thought OK, I have a question, I will give it a try. I prayed about my question, a lot, not just once before the Saturday morning session. But I really prayed and asked Heavenly Father to answer my question during conference. Then I watched conference, all of the sessions. Sure enough someone gave a talk that answered my question. It worked!!!!
I have given this advise to many youth groups through the years, and I know that some have received answers just as I did.
So I wanted to pass this along to all of you. But, I wanted a general authority to say the same thing.
I went searching through LDS.org and I found what I was looking for.
In the New Era, Mar 2006, page 40, was this short article "General Conference Worksheet: Listening for Answers", by Rick Wadsworth.

At the start of general conference a few years ago, President Gordon B. Hinckley promised several blessings to those who listen to conference:

"I invite you to listen, listen if you will by the power of the Spirit, to the speakers who will address you today and tomorrow as well as this evening. If you will do so, I do not hesitate to promise that you will be uplifted, your resolution to do what is right will be stronger, you will find solutions to your problems and your needs, and you will be led to thank the Lord for what you have heard" ("Listen by the Power of the Spirit," Ensign, Nov. 1996, 4).

So, start thinking and praying. Heavenly Father knows each of us and He has a plan for each of us. He wants us to be happy, He wants to give us the answers that we need. Go to Him in prayer and supplication, study your question, make decisions, ask for a confirmation, pray for the speakers at conference, and finally listen intently to all of the sessions of conference. Look for your answers, they will be there, I promise, and President Hinckley has made you this promise too.

I first met Noah at church and I met him in my class and we said "hi" to each other. He likes science and he likes collecting crystals. I also saw Noah at preschool, and the preschool was at his house. We also go to the same kindergarten. We have a good time together and we're very nice to each other. We play at the same learning station. Noah had a scientist birthday party. His dad was a scientist and we saw him make things - he put some water in something and he put some other stuff in, and it made it blast into the air.

I first met Lukas at school. He likes Noah and me. We usually play at the same learning station too. He had a Ninja Turtle birthday party and he had Ninja Turtle masks for us to wear. We looked for clues to do something, but I don't exactly remember. It was to see who had the most, I think. I invited him to my birthday party. We were jumping on all the mats, then we balanced on some wood. Then we were trying to get through the lasers without getting touched five times by the lasers.
