It started out with Justin, Emily and Emma coming to church with us. Then they came over to our house for a few hours before they had to go to Emily's family party. They gave me a sweet picture of Emma
Kevin got me a new outfit for Mother's Day. It is always fun to get new clothes!
Danny and Spencer came over after church. We visited for awhile before they had to go to Spencer's family. Danny and Spencer got me a piece of Lia Sophia jewelry, but it hadn't come yet. It is a slide to go on my Deb collar.
Summer called from Ohio, and I talked with her for about an hour. It is a good thing that we are both on the same cell phone service.....She had some pictures taking of Andrew, Logan and Hannah in their cute purple Easter clothes. I am looking forward to seeing those.
Jenny, Tyson, Blaine, and Eli came over just as Danny and Spencer were leaving. Tyson had to go to work so he left before dinner. Jenny and fam gave me some pictures of Blaine and Eli.
Kody and Brooke came over after being up in Hyrum with Brooke's family. Kody and Brooke got us some lights for our waterfall. I love them!
Then Papa and Grandma Thompson came. Grandma and Papa are so cute they sent me an e-card. It was fun to watch and read.
Thank you for all of my wonderful gifts. Most importantly thank you for spending time with me and Dad. Time is the best gift of all! You are all so thoughtful, I love you all!
We had a nice dinner of Malibu Chicken, a green salad-thanks Brooke, cut up fresh fruit-thanks Mom and Dad, and frog eye salad. For dessert we had a yummy chocolate cake. You can find the recipe here http://familytree-thompson.blogspot.com/2010/05/chocolate-baumkuchen.html
I picked up these flowers at Wal-mart.......the W store on Saturday. They went with my dishes.
Now I know my table isn't set as nicely as the tables here at Stonegable http://www.stonegable.blogspot.com/ but I am trying. By the way if you love dishes she has so many fun sets! Something for every event. I love looking at her blog.
Anyway, thanks again family for making my Mother's Day wonderful.
