Happy Anniversary

Happy ninth anniversary! (sorry the pic isn't the best-it is a photo of a photo, your wedding was before everything went digital :D)

I was telling Grandma Nemanich everything that you two have done in the past nine years-its quite a list-here goes.

You have three wonderful children.

Your family has moved 6 times.

Both of you graduated from Weber State.

Bryan graduated from med school.

You drove cross country to Ohio with two children.

You and Bryan went on your first cruise.

You bought a house.

Wow-that's a lot of big things, and there have been even more little things. Repairing cars and your house, learning new skills, improving your talents, make wonderful friends, increasing your testimonies, flying on airplanes, taking care of sick children, fulfilling callings, and the list just keeps going.

Your family has truly been blessed!

Congratulations on everything! I am so proud of you.

I'm ENGAGED!!!

So on September 13 Spencer and I went to the Weber State home coming football game. Then after the game we had talked of heading up to the W that was lit up above WSU. So we headed up and parked and walked along the side of the mountain till we got under the W and we met up with Lynn, he is the guy who ran the generator for the W. So we talked to him and he told us we could head up there and he gave us a flashlight. So we headed up the mountain. It was really steep and I was silly and wore flip flops up there so it was a pretty interesting hike up. When we got into the W we stood there and just looked out over the valley. It was so pretty. Spencer was standing behind me and I could feel his heart beating like MAD! It was going SO FAST! I wondered what was wrong with him and then it picked up even quicker. Then he turned me around and gave me a hug and told me he loved me and wants to be will me forever and then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. And i said "OF COURSE!" and so he put the ring on my finger!
It is GORGEOUS! Spencer did an amazing job picking it out. All i told him was I want a princess cut, white gold, and a thicker band. He did the rest of it all on his own! I love it! I couldnt have picked anything more perfect!

Then after he gave me the ring he got up and gave me a hug and used the flashlight to shine down to Lynn and he started flashing th W off and on. It was so cute! I loved it! Spencer did good planning it. It was definately one of a kind. Lynn said that in the 29 years he had done that that he'd never gotten a request like that. :D

So then we headed home and showed the family! Mom had said that if we got engaged that night we had to go over to the house right away. We didn't plan on going there so when we showed up the family knew exactly what had happened! YAY! So everyone MARK YOUR CALENDARS... December 16 2008 is our wedding date at the Salt Lake City temple! I love Spencer so much! I can't wait!
