Create

Recently I have heard a few of you saying that "I am not creative". Then a few days ago I received an email from Desert Book. The email had this link. Take a look at what President Dieter F. Uchtdorf has to say about our ability to create. His words are accompanied by accented images, video and text. "The desire to create is one of the deepest yearnings of the human soul. You don't need money, position, or influence in order to create something of substance or beauty."

So now that you have heard from Pres. Uchtodorf-lets get going and create!

Hannah Update

Hannah is so much fun! She toddles around babbling or singing everywhere she goes. She doesn't say any real words yet, unless you count "Da-da," which she says all the time. She loves to eat most things and especially loves drinking her milk from her Princess sippy cups from Nana and Papa! She usually takes two good naps a day and loves to play with her Daddy when he comes home from work!

Oh yeah, the runny nose too! The poor little gal had the stomach flu last week and now has a runny nose and cough that doesn't want to go away!

My friend, Sarah, recently tooks some portraits of Hannah for her birthday. Here are a few of my favorites. There are more posted on Sarah's blog: http://sarahpalfreyman.blogspot.com/2009/03/hannah.html
OR if you REALLY have some time to kill, you can view the whole session at Sarah's website. Just click on the "proofing" tab and enter summer as the password.

Blaine loves his Papa!

A couple weeks ago, we had some huge snow storms. Papa needed to shovel the snow and Blaine wanted to go outside with him. Blaine mostly played while Papa shoveled, but then Blaine got a "shovel" out of the garage and started helping. Blaine sure loves his Papa!

Debbie and Glen-Feburary 24th, 2009

Debbie and Glenn have know each other since their college days at Utah State University. They worked together for many years at Mountain Fuel now known as Questar. Glenn retired a few years ago. Recently Debbie and Glenn got together and fell in love! They tied the knot at the Joseph Smith building in the Empire Room. The ceremony was performed by one of their bishops.

Glenn and Debbie-could Debbie look any happier?

They had a women there that played the piano and the harp. I love harps!

After the ceremony they had a nice luncheon-a fresh fruit salad, Baron of Beef with mashed potatoes and vegetables, and for dessert carrot cake. Debbie's colors were black, white and silver.

The flowers were amazing!

Fresh fruit-it was almost as good as on the cruise to Mexico

Almost everyone was there from the Thompson side of the family. We were missing Spencer, and Matt. That is pretty good for the middle of a work day.

Debbie was beautiful and radiant in her white gown and jacket.

Cloudy and rainy
Sunny and bright
It rain for a bit during the ceremony, but then the sun came out and we had gorgeous blue sky.
Debbie and Glenn are on an extended honeymoon. First they flew to Hawaii and spent the night there. Then it was off to Australia for a cruise around Australia and New Zealand. Then they will fly to the Orient to spend a few weeks with one of Glen's children. So they will be gone for about 5 or so weeks. Wow what a honeymoon!

Congratulation Debbie and Glenn-we love you and wish you all the happiness that you deserve!

What I love about being pregnant!

I only have about 2 1/2 months left until Eli comes. Sometimes it feels like it is dragging, but I know that soon enough it will all be over, and I will miss being pregnant. I don't know if I will get the opportunity to be pregnant again or if this is a one time thing. So, I wanted to write down the things that I love about being pregnant so that I never forget them.

I Love...
  • Feeling Eli move
  • Watching my belly move
  • Wearing maternity clothes
  • Having people ask when I'm due and what I'm having
  • When Blaine kisses my belly and lays his head on my belly
  • That Tyson thinks my belly is HOT!
  • Looking in the miror at my belly
  • Maternity Garments (So comfy!!)
  • Having ultrasounds done
  • Wondering if Eli will look like me or Tyson
  • Hearing Eli's heartbeat

I am so grateful that Heavenly Father has given me this opportunity! I will treasure this experience for forever; just like I treasure our adoption experience. Heavenly Father's hand is in every aspect of our lives. He knows us and loves us. He has a plan for each of us. If we will let him be in charge, our lives will turn out better than we could imagine. Ü
