Andrew's Birth

Andrew Bryan Anderson was born on January 4th, 2002. He weighted 6lbs. 20 oz. and was 20 inches long. He was born in Ogden, Utah.

Andrew is our first grandson. It was a great experience being able to see Andrew be born. While Summer was in labor, I looked over at her, and instead of seeing a grown woman I saw a little girl. It was so strange to think how everything had come to a full circle. Me having her, raising her, she getting married and then watching her deliver her first baby. Wow! Life is full of so many blessing!

Summer had a pretty easy labor and delivery. Bryan was in worse shape than Summer was. He had been admitted to the hospital a few hours before Summer for extreme dehydration and vomiting. So he spent a lot of Summer's labor in the bathroom. We had to call him out of the bathroom so that he could see see Andrew being born. But he was a real trooper. Luckily it didn't last to long, and no one else got his bug.

Logan's Birth

Logan Mac Anderson was born on April 20, 2005. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah. He weighted 7lbs. 7 oz. and was 21 inches long.
Bryan, his mom Nancy, and I were able to watch Logan be born. Watching the birth of a baby is always an amazing experience. It is such a blessing to have babies come into this world without any problems. It is truly amazing!

I brought Andrew up to the hospital to see Summer and Logan. But he was more interested in playing with the rubber glove balloon, than seeing Logan.

Hannah's Birth

Hannah Lee Anderson was born on February 14th, 2008, Valentine's Day (she has a cute little heart shaped birth mark on one of her legs). She was born in Ohio. She weighted 7lbs 1 oz, and was 20 1/2 inches long. She has lots of dark hair and dark eyes. Hannah was born with some breathing problems, they called it a type of pneumonia. She had to stay in the hospital for about 8 days.
Bryan took me, Andrew and Logan up to the hospital to see Summer and Hannah.
Summer really wanted one of these giant cups. At first she didn't think that she was going to get one, but they finally brought her one! I am sure Summer will be thrilled to have this picture posted. Hey, it's history! Right?
Hannah was in the NICU so the boys couldn't see her. But they had fun playing in Summer's room watching TV, playing with the bed, and eating Valentine's treats. Summer and Bryan were able to stay at the hospital with Hannah. That was a real blessing. I was at their home with Andrew and Logan. It was a hard week for us all. Hannah was given a blessing and she began to improve.
Hannah came home while Andrew was still at school. So that gave Logan some much needed one on one with Summer, Bryan and Hannah. Kitty wanted to see Hannah too.
When Andrew came home from school he wasn't to interested in Hannah. But later on that night he held her. Hannah has her brothers wrapped around her tiny fingers.

Guess Who's 30?!

MY HUSBAND....
What is his name? David Bryan Anderson. He had always gone by "David" growing up, but in college (on a dare, I think), he started introducing himself as "Bryan." So everyone who met him in college or after (including me) knows him as "Bryan," while those who knew him before college, (including his entire family) still call him "David." Our new brother-in-law, Davie, didn't know what he should call him, so he came up with "Bravid." Guess who ordered the yummy ice cream birthday cake?
How long have you been together? 8 years

How long did you date? 6 months. When we were first dating, Bryan told me he had a "5 year plan" to not get married until he finished medical school...hahaha...yeah, that didn't last very long!

How old his he? the BIG 3-0!

Who eats more? Bryan

Who said I love you first? Bryan. Then I said something lame like, "I think I love you too."

Who's taller? Bryan - 6' 2"

Who can sing better? I can. But he's MUCH better at making up fake words to songs! Especially in the shower.

Who is smarter? He definitely has me beat in Math and Physical Sciences. Though I did beat him in overall ACT scores.

Dr. Anderson, making the primary incision.

Who does the laundry? Me

Who pays the bills? Me

Who mows the lawn? Bryan. It's pretty embarassing to admit it, but I have NEVER actually moved a lawn in my life! Sad, I know!

Who cooks dinner? Usually me, but Bryan makes a mean BREAKFAST!

Who drives? Bryan. Though even he admits he's a little scary sometimes.

Who is more stubborn? Bryan

Who is more sensitive? Me.

Who has a super power? Bryan has the amazing ability to cheer me up when I am really down! His patient listening, caring words, and hugs, mixed with a little bit of sillyness, always do the trick! He gives the credit to the glass of chocolate Nesquik he insists I drink. He calls it my Prozac. I think people don't realize what a goofy person he is until they really get to know him!

Who kissed who first? Bryan tried to kiss me first, but I didn't know he was trying to, so I accidentally turned my head and he ended up getting my cheek. Oops, sorry, Babe!

Who asked whom out first? Bryan. We first met donating blood plasma in Ogden while we were going to school at Weber State. We were both sitting there across from each other (with needles in our arms) when we struck up a conversation. Very romantic. Bryan asked for my phone number and called me the very next day (he broke the phone number "2-day rule") to ask me out.

Who proposed? Bryan. He proposed at Temple Square in Salt Lake City on February 15, 2000.

Who has more friends? Probably about the same. He has a lot of friends from work.

Who has more siblings? We both have 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Who wears the pants? Logan.

Happy Birthday, Daddy! We love you!
